This song was inspired by the sound and attitudes reflected in Jimmy Buffett's music. It's about a blue-collar guy who's become weary about the relentless grind of his life, until one day, he discovers a travel brochure in his mailbox whose pictures and descriptions are so compelling, he simply HAS to act.

So he sells everything he owns, cashes out his savings, and heads to Mexico in the hopes of creating a completely new life for himself. I wanted it to come across as a kind of Ballad for Everyman, a song that champions that part in all of us that wants to live simply and free. I'll leave it for you to decide if I succeeded or not.
